TYPES OF CLEARANCE
WITH REGARDS TO VAT
Standard procedure customs clearance
For the port of destination located in Poland. If the importer is assisted by a customs agency, the goods will be released as soon as the agency has received the customs duties. When importing without participation of the agency, the amount due must be paid to the account of the customs office, and it is only after the transfer has been received that the goods are being released.
Simplified procedure customs clearance
For the purposes of the simplified procedure, VAT is settled on a monthly (VAT-7 declaration) or quarterly (VAT-7D declaration) basis.
Fiscal customs clearance abroad (the EU countries)
This is a kind of customs clearance with VAT payment deferred until the submission of the corresponding VAT-7 declaration. VAT is then transferred as a part of an intra-Community acquisition of goods in another EU country and is delivered to Poland as an EU country being released for free circulation without the need to pay the import duty.
Customs Clearance
To niezwykle istotny etap w całym procesie importu.
